If you registered and did not receive the payment link in an email, please check your SPAM email. You will need to approve the optimistwash@gmail.com email address so you will continue to receive information from us regarding soccer.
We will be at the soccer fields on 2/29 from 5:30 – 7pm at the concession stand for you to make a payment by Cash or Check in person. Registration must be completed online (see link below) and credit card payments may be completed online.
The spring league 2024 Season will start March 17 and ends on April 28th with no games on Easter weekend.
Games and practices will be held on Sunday afternoons at the soccer complex. Teams will have practice followed by a game.
Registration is $45 for 2024 Spring. Registration will include the team snack after each game. Players must get their snack as a team from the team manager/coach/parent.
Registration for Spring Soccer is limited to the number of Coaches. Let us know if you would like to coach in the Spring League. Please email us at optimistwash@gmail.com
Parents will be emailed their Coach information and a schedule of when to come to the soccer fields before the first practice. Practice and games will start on March 17th at 1pm.
There will be a concession stand available during the games/practices. We will have hotdogs, drinks and lots of snacks.
No other fundraiser will be held during the spring season.
Games are non-competitive and the league is designed for skills learning.
All players must wear shin guards during practice and the games. Shin guards are to be covered with socks.
No jewelry (NO Earrings) allowed on the players during practice or games (including no hair beads or barrettes or hard hairbands).
Recommend tennis shoes with a tread or soccer cleats (no leading toe cleat). You may NOT wear baseball or football cleats.
Bring a soccer ball to practice. 4-5-6 use a size 3 ball, 7-12 use a size 4 ball for Spring (size 5 is ok for practice). 13-15 years old will use a size 5 soccer ball.

Registration for Spring Soccer is not complete until paid. Payments may be made online or by mailing a check. Checks must be received at least 1 week before the season starts. Please include the player’s name on a check. After filling out the online registration form below, you may mail a check to: Optimist Club, PO Box 1174, Washington, NC 27889 or pay online. We will be at the soccer fields on 2/29 from 5:30-7:00 pm to receive cash or check payments.
