2010 Topic - "The Internet: Today's Evolution or Tomorrow's Menace?"

The Optimist Club of Washington has a local Essay contest each year. The winner of the local contest moves on to compete at a district level.

The topics for the Essay change each year. Information is given to all the Beaufort County Schools and is advertised on our website. Anyone may participate.

The 2009 winner is Jenna Buck. She also placed 2nd at the district level.
